The Community Collective Passport Sweepstakes

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 1. Eligibility The Community Collective Passport Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the state of Wisconsin who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Etzler Events LLC, participating passport businesses, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Sponsor

The Sweepstakes is sponsored solely by Etzler Events LLC, Menomonee Falls, WI ("Sponsor"). This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.

3. Agreement to Rules

By participating, entrants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be violating these rules.

4. Promotion Period

The Sweepstakes begins on October 1st, 2026 at 12:00 AM CST and ends on November 20th, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST (the "Promotion Period"). Submissions received after the Promotion Period will not be eligible.

5. How to Enter

There are two (2) ways to enter during the Promotion Period:

1. The Physical Passport Path: Visit all six (6) participating physical business locations listed in The Community Collective magazine. Obtain a physical signature on your official Collective Passport Card at each location. Once all six (6) slots are complete, take a clear photograph of the completed card and email it to Melissa@EtzlerEvents.com.

2. Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE): To enter the drawing without visiting the physical participating locations, eligible entrants must submit a completely original, hand-written 1500-word essay on the topic: “The Economic Impact and Cultural Importance of Supporting Independent Small Businesses in Southeastern Wisconsin.”

   Strict Anti-AI Generation Clause: The essay must be the original, independent work of the individual entrant, authored entirely by a human being. Submissions created, generated, compiled, or assisted in whole or in part by Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms, large language models, or automated writing tools (including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar software) are strictly prohibited.

   Sponsor reserves the right to utilize advanced AI-detection software to review any essay submissions. Any entry suspected or found to contain machine-generated or AI-assisted content will be immediately disqualified without notice, and the entrant will be barred from the promotion.

   To submit, scan your final original essay and email it to melissa@etzlerevents.com along with your full legal name, email address, and phone number before November 20th, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. Limit one essay entry per person.

Limit: One (1) primary entry per person, regardless of the method of entry. Bonus Entry: Entrants may earn one (1) additional bonus entry (limit 1 bonus entry total per person) by posting a photo of their passport card on Instagram, tagging the participating business location, and tagging @EtzlerEvents. Instagram accounts must be set to public for the entry to be verified.

6. Prize Draw & Notification

One (1) grand prize winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The drawing will take place live on Monday, November 23rd, 2026 [insert time, e.g., at 6:00 PM CST] at [insert location/online page name].

The winner does not need to be present to win. If the winner is not present, they will be notified via the email address used to submit their entry within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing. If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to claim the prize within seven (7) days of notification, or is found ineligible, an alternate winner will be randomly selected.

7. Prizes

The winner will receive a curated local community prize basket containing [briefly list major items, e.g., artisanal goods, gift cards, etc.]. The total approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize basket is $500.00 USD. No cash value or prize substitution is permitted except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. The prize is non-transferable. The winner is responsible for any local, state, or federal taxes associated with prize acceptance.

8. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend entirely on the total number of eligible primary and bonus entries received during the Promotion Period.

9. Publicity Release

Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the winner’s consent to the Sponsor’s use of their name, likeness, and photograph for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

10. General Conditions & Limitation of Liability

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the promotion.

By entering, participants release and hold harmless Etzler Events LLC, its owners, and participating business locations from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.

11. Disputes

This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. As a condition of participating, entrants agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Waukesha County or Washington County, Wisconsin.

12. Winner's List

To request the name of the prize winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Etzler Events LLC, [Insert Your Business Mailing Address], after November 30th, 2026.
